about

All Set West supports emerging talent to access opportunities in Film and TV production. We’re here for anyone in the West of England who wants to build a career behind the camera.

The film and television industry can feel like a bolted door. We’re here to provide access and nurture local talent. Through collaboration, education and resources, we connect up the industry.

Our motivation is representation. We believe everyone deserves the chance to do what they are truly passionate about. Greater diversity in the industry benefits everyone. We’re here to play our part in creating a fairer, more inclusive industry in the West of England and beyond.

Here’s how we’re building change

training people

All Set West Training

Our free All Set West Training is delivered at The Bottle Yard Studios. We demystify the world of scripted production and get trainees set ready for entry-level roles in the industry. If you’re based in the West of England and from a community that is currently underrepresented in the industry, this is for you. After you’ve completed our Training, we then work with productions filming locally to connect you to work experience or paid placements, giving you your first important credit.

All Set West Outreach

You can find us at local careers events, in schools or colleges, at community events and job centres – wherever we’re able to increase awareness about the different kinds of Film and TV production careers open to new talent. We’re passionate about reaching places and people who may not previously have seen the industry as being open to them.
our network

All Set West Network

We know that untapped talent is out there – and so are productions filming world-class content in our region. We’re here to bridge the gap between the two, creating a supportive environment where we lift the lid on the industry and open doors. We couldn’t do this without our growing collaborator network of production companies, skills and training providers, educators and community groups, all of whom share our commitment to supporting local entrants. Take a look at who we’ve worked with so far.
