Together we demystify the world of scripted production and get you ‘set ready’ for entry level roles in the industry.

Our motivation with All Set West is to increase representation. If you are from a community that is currently underrepresented in the industry and based in the West of England then our training is for you. You don’t need a degree or previous experience to apply, just a willingness to learn!

The course focuses on confidence-building, set etiquette and work-readiness, communication skills and teamwork, wellbeing and resilience, as well as digital and financial literacy and how to find work as a freelancer. Check out full details here

On the All Set West Hub you’ll also find info about training opportunities delivered by other regional organisations that can help you get started in the industry.

In recent years, the West of England has become more popular than ever to  producers and filmmakers creating scripted film and TV content. Shows like The Outlaws, Rivals and Boarders film all year round at The Bottle Yard Studios and on location supported by the region’s Film Offices. We know that local diverse talent have been struggling to access entry positions for the types of roles being created.

We put underrepresented talent forward, connecting production teams and industry opportunities with local talent. Through collaboration we’re opening up opportunities to grow and work in an industry that’s telling more stories than ever and embarking on a new chapter.

Some people love it, some people hate it – but the fact remains that networking is really important when starting out in a film/TV career! Even when you have a few credits under your belt, it can still be tough to find work as a freelancer in production. Getting out there and meeting people is often the best way to learn about new opportunities.

By registering free to become part of our All Set West Community, you can view upcoming events, including networking for local crew, on the All Set West Hub. We recommend that you also list yourself on the free Filming in England Crew Directory.
